Dr. Jenna Levenson is a seasoned leader in drug development and clinical research, with over a decade of experience driving innovation across biotech, academic, and health system settings.

From 2021 to 2024, she served as Vice President of Drug Development for MyMD Pharmaceuticals Inc., MIRA Pharmaceuticals Inc., and Telomir Pharmaceuticals Inc. In these roles, she led strategic planning and managed annual budgets ranging from $10–15 million, overseeing preclinical development, technical operations, and outsourced activities. She played a key role in medical monitoring and patient safety review, while also serving as a liaison to the FDA, stakeholders, and media.

Before entering the biotech space, Dr. Levenson was Director of Clinical Research and Scientific Grants at LifeBridge Health, a five-hospital system in Baltimore. There, she led system-wide research operations, overseeing more than 250 Phase I–IV trials and implementing over 20 institutional policies to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Her earlier work at Johns Hopkins Hospital focused on integrating substance use interventions into clinical training and conducting clinical trials in treatment-resistant depression, including collaborations with Janssen Pharmaceuticals on intranasal esketamine studies. She also partnered closely with clinicians, educators, and scientific leaders to bridge academic research and patient care.

Dr. Levenson has contributed to the field as an assistant editor for AMIA MedInfo and HIMSS conferences, a scientific reviewer for peer-reviewed journals, and as Secretary for the Southern Nursing Research Society. She is a published author and frequent collaborator on research at the intersection of nursing, psychiatry, and clinical innovation.

She holds a PhD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, a BS in Nursing from the University of North Florida (cum laude), and both BS and MS degrees in Sport Administration from the University of Miami.
